Mr. Connors the world renown musician, producer and arranger with numerous hits and successful albums to his credit is remembered for his signature tune "You Are My Starship".

The "First Ladies Of Disco" Book Signing - Release Party and Concert was a walk down memory lane with some of the most extraordinary voices in the disco era. These ladies made a difference in the music movement and are still singing beautiful music. Martha Wash, Claudja Barry, Linda Clifford, Cheryl Mason Dorman, Renee Wearing, Cassandra Wooten, James Arena -author of "First Ladies Of Disco" and Wardell Piper.

Wardell Piper. one of the original member's of the female singing group "First Choice", who sang on the hit song "Armed & Extremely Dangerous" was seen at the fabulous Resorts World Casino in New York where she was apart of the "First Ladies Of Disco" Book Release Party & Concert .

Arctic Records formerly based in Philadelphia celebrates 
it's 50th Anniversary @ The DuPont Theater in Wilmington, Delaware on Sept. 21st, 2013 @ 8 p.m.  The G.E.M.A. Foundation also based in Philadelphia will be paying tribute to the artists of Arctic Records who made the record label popular in the mid 1960's. The G.E.M.A. Foundation 's "Golden Mic Honors" honorees are as follows: John Ellison who wrote and performed "Some Kinda Wonderful", Barbara Mason who wrote and performed "Yes, I'm Ready", Winfield Parker who performed "Shake That Thing", Kenny Hamber who performed "Looking For A Love", The Temptones who performed "Girl I Love You", Honey & The Bees who performed "Sunday Kinda Of A Love" & "We Got To Stay Together", The Volcanos who performed "Storm Warning", Kenny Gamble & The Romeos who performed "Ain't It Baby", and Brenda & The Tabulations who performed "It Was Right On The Tip Of My Tongue". It will be a reunion to celebrate and remember. Come, listen and enjoy all these great "Voices".

The Ritchie Family, (The First Ladies Of Disco) are back together again and what a wonderful thing that is to hear and see these ladies back on stage.  The current line up is Cassandra Wooten, Cheryl Mason-Dorman and the newest member Renee Guillory-Wearing.  The original and latest incarnation of The Ritchie Family has evolved. They have revamped, reestablished and returned to the stage. The first has become the last. Renee Guillory-Wearing, took the place of Ritchie Family original member Gwendolyn Wesley.  Gwendolyn is healthy, vibrant and enjoys being a wife, mother and active in her church.
