Arctic Records formerly based in Philadelphia celebrates it's 50th Anniversary @ The DuPont Theater in Wilmington, Delaware on Sept. 21st, 2013 @ 8 p.m. The G.E.M.A. Foundation also based in Philadelphia will be paying tribute to the artists of Arctic Records who made the record label popular in the mid 1960's. The G.E.M.A. Foundation 's "Golden Mic Honors" honorees are as follows: John Ellison who wrote and performed "Some Kinda Wonderful", Barbara Mason who wrote and performed "Yes, I'm Ready", Winfield Parker who performed "Shake That Thing", Kenny Hamber who performed "Looking For A Love", The Temptones who performed "Girl I Love You", Honey & The Bees who performed "Sunday Kinda Of A Love" & "We Got To Stay Together", The Volcanos who performed "Storm Warning", Kenny Gamble & The Romeos who performed "Ain't It Baby", and Brenda & The Tabulations who performed "It Was Right On The Tip Of My Tongue".
